- In this paper, we present the results of our analysis on the agenda that were covered
at this year’s general shareholders’ meetings of listed companies in our coverage,
specifically those on the elections for directors, auditors, and audit committee members.
- We examined 2,106 agenda submitted by 544 companies, with a separate analysis
on 622 agenda of 137 companies of Korea’s top 30 conglomerates,
focusing on the time series characteristics of such agenda addressed by major companies before and
after the Korea Stewardship Code (hereinafter referred to as “the Code”)
was implemented in December 2016. Here’s what we’ve learned.
